Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Curt Trailer Hitch Ball Mount for 2" hitches with a 2-5/16" ball. This is gonna be a great option for those of you with a 2" hitch that need to hook up to a trailer that has a 2-5/16" coupler. And this ball comes included and pre-torqued and it's gonna be in the drop position. So here we have it with a 2" drop. It can also be in a rise position with 3/4", you're simply gonna flip this over and you will have to take the ball off and re-torque it down. So that's one of the good things about this is it does come pre-torqued so you don't have to have that torque wrench to be able to do it, but you still have that availability if you need to put it in a rise position to be able to do that. more

Buyers Products Solid Shank Double-Ball Hitch Review- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at the Buyers Products Double Ball Mount for two-inch hitches. Now this ball mount features two welded on balls and you have two different sizes, one of them being 2 5/16 and one of them being two inch. So that way if you have two different trailers or to a variety of different trailers, you're able to swap this over pretty easily and be able to swap ball sizes. Now the pin and clip is not included with this so you are gonna want to pick up a 5/8 pin and clip. Locking one is a really nice option and we have lots of available ones here at etrailer and that way you can leave your ball mount on the vehicle, lock that in place, and no one's gonna be able to just walk away with this. more

Pro Series Tri-Ball Mount Review- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Pro Series Trailer Ball Mount, with three different ball sizes for a 2" hitch. Now, many times when we're towing, we are towing the same trailer so it's pretty straightforward. You get a ball and a ball mount that works well but sometimes you have a little bit of variety. So if you're doing something like kayaks on the weekend and having fun or maybe doing a little bit of work on the weekend, you can swap the ball over and it's gonna work with either configuration. So for a small kayak trailer that's an 1-7/8" coupler, it works great for that. And when we're ready to hop over to our work trailer and get some work done, simple as rotating this over and it's still gonna have that same 5/8" pin and clip and that's gonna hold this in place. more

So that makes it great for being able to tow a trailer like this one day, and be able to swap over to something may be a little bit different the next day. So if during the week you're doing some work, around the house and need a work trailer, but on the weekend you want to cut loose and have some fun, and both trailers have two different sized couplers, not to worry, you're good to go. Now, this does not have a rise or drop, so just make sure when choosing this ball mount, that it measures with the coupler of your trailer and also with the hitch, and that way it's nice and even. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at eTrailer and today we're taking a look at the Curt two-inch hitch ball mount. Now this is gonna be a great option especially if you're looking for a four-inch drop or a two-inch rise and an inch and seven eighths ball because that ball comes included and attached already. Now this is a decent ball mount for anything that's going to be fairly lower weight because the capacity is rated at 3500 pounds and the number stamped on the ball mount is actually gonna be a little bit higher. In fact, the gross trailer weight rating on that is gonna be 7500 pounds with a tongue weight of 750, but you are limited because of the ball size. The inch and seven eighths only goes up to that 3500-pound capacity. And you'll also have a 350-pound tongue weight. more

Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount with Stacked Receivers Review GY65FR- Video

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this adjustable ball mount from Gen-Y for our 2-1/2" hitches. This is going to give you a couple of different options in terms of hooking up. We've got our 2-5/16" ball and a 2" ball on the bottom that we can access just by unpinning, flipping it around, and reinserting it into one of the stacked receiver tubes. Depending on which one of these you use, your weight capacity will vary just a little bit. With the 2" ball, it's gonna have a gross trailer weight rating of 16,000 pounds with a maximum tongue weight, that's the downward pressure, of 1500 pounds. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the TowSmart tow starter package for 2-inch hitches. Now this is gonna come with a 2-inch ball and also have a 2-inch rise or a 3 1/4-inch drop. If you don't regularly tow and you've just picked up a vehicle with a 2-inch hitch, and you wanna tow something like a kayak trailer or even just a, you know, if you're moving and you need to rent a trailer, you can definitely pick this up and it's gonna be a great option because it comes with the 2-inch ball already pre-torqued on there. It also comes with a locking pin and clip here, which is really nice. And that way you can keep this on your vehicle, locked in place, and no one's gonna walk away with it. Now this is rated at 5,000 pounds, which is not a ton of weight, but for something like our Maverick here, as well as a kayak trailer, it's a perfect match and it's gonna be good for most light-duty trailers that you'd be hooking up to. more

Blue Ox Adjustable Ball Mount with Pintle Hook Review- Video

Hi everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at this Blue Ox Adjustable Ball Mount with the pintle hook attachment for your two inch hitches. So I will point out that we are using this in a 2 1/2 inch hitch with a reducer, but on a regular two inch hitch, this is gonna be a great adjustable ball mount, offering you a 2 5/16 ball with that pintle hook attachment that you can or don't have to use. So if you've got a lunette ring trailer, this is really nice, because you can pull out that pin and clip, lift the lever to open it up, drop your lunette ring trailer on top, push it back into place and resecure it with that pin and clip. If you don't need to use the pintle hook, maybe you're towing just a regular trailer, you can secure it up top in the open position with that pin and clip. And then it won't pop back down, you can hook up to a regular coupler, so if you're carrying a wide variety of different trailers and you need to be switching between those two mounting options, you can. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the CURT Ball Mount Four Inch and a Quarter Inch Hitches. You do have the option to have a rise or a drop, and that's gonna be really nice to custom cater it to make sure that your trailer's perfectly level so you get the best towing experience. And this one we have in our rise position, which gives us a five eighths of an inch rise. Now if you need the drop, which is gonna be an inch and a quarter, you're simply going to take this, flip it over, and you will have to take the ball and flip that and retorque that as well. Now, the ball does not come with this. And the reason being is you wanna make sure that it's going to the coupler that you're gonna be using. more

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Gen-Y torsion ball mount with a 9" drop for your 2 1/2" hitches. This is gonna be a really high end and pretty unique ball mount. It offers a lot of adjustment in that height. It's gonna have two different ball sizes that come with it and it's got a built-in torsion system to act as a shock absorber. So as our trailer is going up and down, all that shock and vibration is gonna hopefully get absorbed completely by this ball mount or at least most of the way and not transfer that all the way into our truck, creating a much more smooth and enjoyable towing experience. more
